RGB:2
2010
RGB:2 takes on a complexity beyond what is present in RGB:1. Instead of focusing on a single event, multiple events are introduced and allowed to interact with each other forming intricate scenes and images. Repetition is a key element of the piece, exploring how an event is affected by duplication, both as a whole and deconstructied image, and in relation to itself and other events. In RGB:2 time instead of being a variable becomes the constant, music is used as a framework upon which to structure images. Specially designed costumes are used to increase the visibility of the video channels after being broken apart.
