RGB:3
2011
RGB:3 returns to the simplicity of RGB:1 with the observation of a single event. In this piece the interaction of the medium comes from the same event being viewed simaltaneously from multiple viewpoints. Each view is restricted to a single channel of video and allowed to recreate a new image based on the intersections of the three channels in a shared space. It also expands upon an idea that first appeared in RGB:2 where multiple frames are layered on top of each other to create a temporal persistance of an event in a static space.
